Chef at home Catalina

Chef Cata and her assistant, Virginia, created an amazing culinary experience for my family! They were punctual, professional and peerless in the delivery of amazing bites at every course. Our family was reuniting from many countries around the world for a once-in-a-lifetime gathering (Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Finland and USA) and the quality of food and service was up to the significance of the event! Everyone was happy and I highly recommend Chef Cata.

On Saturday, 15th of April 2023, we (a group of 16 international people) celebrated a reunion in a private location close to El Campello (Alicante) and were treated by a delicious Spanish style dinner created and served by the chef Catalina and her helping hand. Fantastic tapas, great starters, yummi food and beverage served in a very nice and friendly way!! We all loved it and felt being really treated! Thank you so much, Catalina and your assistance!

It all started with an amazing and easy going dialogue with Catalina. She was all the time very clear about thing that don’t leave any further questions. And her meal suggestions were also very good and she could easily adjust after taste/allergies. The whole experience was amazing. I loved that she found her own way in the kitchen and it felt just so comfortable that she “felt like home” in the kitchen without having any from the house showing where everything were :) An the food… oh my! It was the 40th birthday for my boyfriend and it could not have been any better. The tastes was out of this world with really nice suiting wine to it. I really liked that Catalina mostly chose Spanish wines :) It was also really nice that when it all was over Catalina left the kitchen perfectly clean with all the dishes cleaned and out in the shelves where they belong :) An amazing experience which we will definitely do again! :)

Catalina helped us celebrate my sister’s birthday in Madrid with a truly amazing and delicious meal! Leading up to the event she was easy to work with, prompt in communication, and put together a menu and wine pairing according to the groups preferences. For the dinner, she was extremely professional and very friendly! She took her time to explain the dishes to us and didn’t mind when we asked her to snap a few group pictures. On top of that, the kitchen was spotless by the time she served dessert and she even made some recommendations for restaurants for the rest of our time. The meal was truly delicious! I would highly recommend Catalina to anyone and will definitely use her if we are in Madrid again!
