Chef Jeremy Sherman is a true Lake Tahoe local. Growing up on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe, Jeremy developed a taste for local, sustainable cuisine early on. His taste developed into a profession and he became the Executive Chef of the Lake Tahoe Brewing Company, in Crystal Bay, in his early 20’s. During this time, Jeremy was featured as an 'up and coming chef 'in Celebrator Beer News Magazine. Jeremy’s culinary background is as diverse and outstanding as the food he prepares. He’s cultivated his skills as the Sous Chef for PF Chang’s and Planet Dailies as well as served as the Executive Chef for the Auld Dubliner Irish Pubs. In 2005, Jeremy relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada where he worked under world renown chefs, John Tesar and Rick Moonen, as the Sous Chef for RM Seafood. In 2009, Jeremy returned to Lake Tahoe to start a family. Since returning he’s prepared mouthwatering delights on the Tahoe Queen, Riva Grill and helped launch Verde Mexican Rotisserie, serving as the Chef of the Meyers location during the concept creation and menu development. Jeremy’s latest endeavor, General Manager & Chef for Al Fresco’s Mexican Bistro, is truly a work of passion. His culinary skills will be on display as he prepares special menu items daily that draw on his wealth of culinary experience. Jeremy currently resides in South Lake Tahoe with his wife Lindsay and their seven-year-old son, Tripp.
