My cooking style is plant-based with a nod to American Comfort and Soul food. I also bake and decorate cakes, pastries, and other desserts.
I’ve cooked since I was around 8 yrs-old. I worked my way up from busperson to sous chef at The Walden Inn (Greencastke IN) and cooked at various locations in Yellowstone National Park. I left the food industry for other interests including wellness & fitness, academia (earning a MFA and PhD), art (writing, dancing, singing), and community involvement. My shift to veganism about five years ago reignited my passion for cooking, and now I love preparing and sharing quality plant-based food for all to enjoy.
