Cooking style
My cooking style is new American, southern and Latin/Asian fusion. Although I have a largely European influence with an emphasis on incorporating exotic flavors. I have experience with preparing Pan Asian, Latin and Mexican, Mediterranean, French, molecular gastronomy, Spanish and bbq. Traditional and iconic dishes are the basis of amazing meals, anything extra is just a twist or minor improvement. Some examples of the food I'm comfortable preparing are paellas, tacos with handmade tortillas, any and all seafood, steak house quality beef, southern style ribs, pad Thai, pho, and many Italian dishes. I also make pasta from scratch. I offer a wide range of options because being versatile and fluid allows for personal growth as a chef. I am a perfectionist and I believe that is represented in my cooking. I would love to cook for you or even set up a tasting in which you will have an opportunity to enjoy a light meal and judge for yourself.
Experience
I unknowingly began my career as a chef at 8 years old. My mother owned a catering company and my grandfather was a trained chef in Spain. Throughout the proceeding years I worked every position in the food industry, from dishwasher to upper management at the Las Vegas Convention Center. What makes a solid chef is not whom or where they've worked, or the ability to prepare an array of delicious cuisines, it's the passion and professionalism that separates most chefs. The majority of chefs are overworked, under paid, and quite frankly jaded from the long hot days. However, there are many of us that have entered this profession because we love to cook. It's not only challenging but moreover it's an opportunity to express ourselves through art on a plate. I hope to exceed your expectations and like any nice restaurant, your meal is 100% guaranteed.
