Excellent Dinner!
Chef Duarte was wonderful!! Very communicative, easy to work with and accommodating, and a delight to have in our house for our 40th bday dinner (he cooked for myself and 8 friends). Absolutely recommend him!

Incredible experience
Chef Duarte was amazing - we surprised our parents with a private chef for their 25th wedding anniversary and they were overwhelmed with emotion. His food, presentation & personality made it all the more special! We were thrilled with the experience and were so grateful to have someone from the island cook for us.

Wonderful unique experience and amazing food
We were amazed by Chef Duarte's passion and skill. We opted for the tasting/paring menu and requested Portuguese/Madeira influenced cuisine. All the courses and wine pairings were perfect and we really appreciated Chef's knowledge and passion for Madeira and the stories to go along with the food. He took his time to make sure we enjoyed every course and paring and was happy to chat with us along the way. We would highly recommend anyone coming to Madeira to experience his food if you are able.
We also had two young kids, and chef was happy to make a quick (but delicious) pasta dish for them, before we sent them off to bed. They ate everything!
