Private Chef ALI Marbella, AN, Spain

We rented a villa in Mijas, Spain, with my extended family—seven of us in total—and had the pleasure of hiring Chef Ali. He did an outstanding job from start to finish. Punctual and polite, he arrived fully prepared and set himself up in the kitchen with ease. I had already set the table, but to my pleasant surprise, Chef Ali had brought everything needed to elevate the setting—even fresh flowers and beautiful napkins that perfectly matched the table runner. We began with five classic Spanish tapas. Normally, we would have expected just one of each to try, but there was more than enough for everyone. The highlight was the Iberico pork paella—my husband, who has enjoyed paella all over Spain, said it was one of the best he’s ever had. For dessert, we enjoyed a perfect crema catalana, the ideal sweet ending to such a generous meal.
