Hi, I’m Chef Leon. Originally from Amsterdam and now based near Westport, Ontario, I bring over 20 years of international culinary and hospitality experience into people’s homes, cottages, and celebrations. Over the years I’ve worked in luxury hotels, private estates, restaurants, weddings, and intimate dinner settings, including experience at renowned establishments such as the Amstel Hotel and private chef service in Canada. But what I enjoy most has always stayed the same: creating warm, memorable evenings around the table. My style combines refined restaurant-quality cooking with a relaxed and personal atmosphere. I love Mediterranean and European influences, beautiful shared dishes, thoughtful plating, and menus that feel abundant, seasonal, and welcoming without becoming overly formal. Whether it’s an intimate dinner for two, a family gathering at the cottage, a celebration with friends, or a fully hosted multi-course evening, I work closely with guests to create an experience that feels effortless, personal, and genuinely special.
