I first started cooking for my family as a child, from around the age of 8, I had discovered the art of pasta making, the art of multi-layered casserole dishes, the art of baking pies, muffins, etc...I eventually took the Culinary Arts Program at VIU in Nanaimo, B.C. Ever since then, I've learned under at least 4 to 5 great chefs on Vancouver Island. I've become a great baker, learned Thai food Cuisine, many different Italian dishes, b.b.q., vegan/vegetarian cuisine, etc...the list goes on and on. I've recently developed an interest in fine dining/gourmet style...
