As a Jamaican child growing and learning from the matriarchs of my family, as well as working with the city’s toughest and most creative Chef’s – my cooking is the perfect combination of comforting and luxurious and never too complicated

From a young age I was experimenting in the kitchen. Trying to “cook” for my brother and I by mimicking what I had seen the matriarchs of my family make. As a young adult my mother convinced me to take this passion seriously which allowed me to travel to, learn in and cook in the gorgeous country of Italy. From there I have been able to work alongside and learn from some of Toronto’s best most creative chefs.
