Local Ingredients, Latin Flair

Latin food has my heart, I really enjoy cooking regional Mexican dishes as well as Peruvian, Colombian, Chilean and Argentinian. I also quite enjoy inspired food, including Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Thai and Indian. Many of these cuisines work well with each other as well! I often spend my days off cooking (surprisingly uncharacteristic for most chefs!) creating new dishes and new flavours. I really look forward to having an outlet to share them. I am no stranger to restrictions and I am comfortable doing vegetarian, vegan, gf, etc.

I grew up on a ranch south of Edmonton, foraging and working in our garden during the summers. I often spent my weekends barbecuing over live fire with friends. Upon moving to the city, I realized food was my passion and took it in stride. I am young but have been working in kitchens now for over 8 years. I enjoy creating Family-style or plated dishes using seasonal ingredients from local farms with a hint of smoke and latin-flair.
