Establishing a deeper connection with the food we savour is my beacon for success. My meals are a bridge that connects food producers with people seeking meaningful nourishment. I seek to provide decadent nutrition by serving meals that are both healthy for the body and also provide “peace of mind” by informing my clients of the journey their food made to their plate. In addition to delicious food, conversations with my clients focus on encouraging them to be adventurous, where I share my personal strategies for finding happiness and fulfillment.
My creative journey begins with a visit to farmers markets and my favourite food merchants that I know by a first-name basis. My eyes scan for colourful, seasonal beauty. I pour my efforts towards optimizing my menus and flavour pairings, which makes me part artist, part scientist, that seeks to create the “perfect” dish. The ultimate theme for my work is to showcase food as life, producing meals that have the power to excite passion in others and myself.
My experience in food services spans over 23 years. Being passionate cooks, my mother and brother instilled within me a deep appreciation for quality meals at a young age. During my adolescence, my first jobs were in food courts and restaurants, experiences that affirmed my desire to complete formal culinary training at the Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec. With entrepreneurial spirit springing forth, I launched a catering company. Longing for adventure, I became a globetrotter that lived abroad in many wonderful exotic places including Thailand, Australia, Italy and Israel. These travels taught me exquisite flavour pairings that I now share at home in Montreal and at events I cater abroad.
Thanks to Chef Joanna, we had a wonderful time. The food was amazing, she made sure that everyone was pleased. We all enjoyed the experience!

J'ai retenu les services de Chef Joanna Anne à l'occasion d'un souper de famille avec mes cinq enfants. Tous ont été ravis par la présentation, la saveur et la diversité des plats. Le tout était en quantité plus que suffisante. Joanna est professionnelle et passionnée de son art culinaire. Nous avons adoré et grandement apprécié cette première expérience de chef à domicile et je vous recommandons ce type d'expérience en famille.
