Passionate Quality Chef with over 30 years of experience in luxury properties including The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, Silverado Resort Napa Valley, Kingsmill Resort and The Mauna Kea Beach Hotel. Accomplished career from working my way up from dishwasher to executive chef in my home town of Hawaii. Graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1983 after 4 years of experience as an Executive Chef. Varying jobs including a one year sabbatical to Korea to teach Culinary Arts at a large University. Work experience at quality hotels and resorts have earned me the ability to be uncompromising in quality and execution, be relentless in consistency, passionate about food and the ability to translate and infuse that into the staff.
