I have Sicilian roots and I was raised in Southern Florida. Italian and Latin based dishes are my strong points.
I was born into a restaurant and a family of special talented cooks. My Nonna Lilly would be in the kitchen all day and that was the hangout spot to get really good advice or even a really good laugh. For work, I started in the bar scene and then line cook after mastering a line. I then went into the culinary field and started expanding and experimenting with what I already knew and stepped up my game.
