Good Day! It would be an honor to present and share with you what I can do. I am originally from Columbia, Missouri and attended undergrad at Creighton University. I later attended culinary school in Scottsdale, Arizona. Immediately after culinary school in August of 2009 I moved to New Orleans to study Cajun and Creole cuisine. I spent more than 8 years working in the kitchens of Commander’s Palace, Ralph’s on the Park, Gautreau’s, kin, Boucherie, and Emeril’s. It is there that I struggled, endured, learned, and experienced more than I could have ever imagine in one of the great food and music capitals of the world. In 2018, I was invited to help open French Quarter Bistro, a Cajun and Creole restaurant in the Virgin Islands. It is there I learned more aspects of the kitchen including the management, marketing, costing, harmony with service, menu creation, and menu execution. During the initial phases of the pandemic, I found myself with more spare time for the first time in more 13 years in the culinary industry. It was in May of 2020, that I met my future wife, Ana on a dating app. She was in Santo Domingo and I was in St. Thomas. We video called, messaged and spoke each and every day since. It was not enough and so in April 2021 I moved my life to Santo Domingo to be with her and make her my wife. It is where I find myself today and I would love to share my skills and experience with you, your family, and friends.
