International Comfort foods are a favorite of mine but I am well versed in Caribbean, Italian, Greek, Mexican, and many American cuisines such as Southern, Soul Food, New England, Tex Mex and Fusion.
I am a Private Traveling Chef willing and able to cook anywhere in the US and the Caribbean and am available for one time events or short term stays for you or groups up to 75 people. I have over 10 years of in-home service experience and over 33 years of cooking experience. I was professionally trained in Culinary at Johnson and Wales University ('92) and furthered my education at Laboure College (dietetics) and gained a BA in psychology from the University of Rhode Island('10). I have cooked for Paula Deen, Rihanna, and Kelly Clarkson but have worked with many stars over the years. I also have successful experience in event planning for small to very large events.
Along with my professional experience, my personal life has helped me in my career. I grew up in the South and then lived in New England, Haiti and currently live between the Dominican Republic and the US. I love to travel, see the world and especially taste all the world has to offer. I have traveled to over 9 different countries on 3 different continents and It has helped me with developing recipes and creating many dishes to please the palate.

I also have nutritional education and can work with special diets (whether self-elected or medically required) and am certified in handling Allergy restrictions/food sensitivities and Certified as a Food Safety Manager, Trainer, and Proctor both through Servsafe.
