I have a mixed bag of tricks, I have a strong love for South East Asian, Chinese, Korean and Japanese inspired dishes but can also turn on a dime to Classic French or Italian. I’m well versed in Vegan and Vegetarian and gluten free alternatives. Oh, and I can also make dessert.
Graduate of Ottawa’s Algonquin College Culinary Management program. Was appointed Executive Chef of Biagios Italian Kitchen after Culinary School and from there moved to Vegan restaurant Zen Kitchen. Represented Zen Kitchen at Ottawa’s annual Gold Medal Plates Competition placing Silver along Side Excecutive Chef & Owner Caroline Ishi. I moved on to work beside Top Chef Canada Season 2 Finalist & Top Chef Canada All-Stars Johnathon Korecki at Sidedoor Contemporary Kitchen & Bar. Representing ar Ottawa’s Gold Medal Plates Competition once again finishing with Silver and Bronze respectively. It was here I found my love for South East Asian Cuisine / Chinese cooking techniques. I moved to Toronto and found myself at Head Chef and Owner Scott Vivian’s BEAST Restaurant. Whole animal butchery, local farmers and forging of wild ingredients became second nature while learning what it takes to run a successful restaurant in a major city. In 2017 my wife and I opened our own private dining and catering company and have been building it ever since!
Chef Anthony curated and impeccably execute an amazing 6 course meal for 6 guests at my home in Collingwood. Chef Anthony brings awesome experience from his time at Beast in Toronto. His menu selection was very creative and diverse. He included flavours from throughout the world, combine them impeccably and used outstanding ingredients. He arrived fully equipped to execute the meal and cleaned up very well afterwards. If your planning a special meal. I highly recommend Chef Anthony if you are planning a special evening!!
10/10 - I am a picky client and I can tell you that the food is unbelievable! The service is equal and just out of this world! Not even a week after our event and we have multiple people who have been asking for their details!
Tony and Lauren were incredible to work with! We recently hired them for a 200 person corporate holiday party, and they were spectacular in every way. Our guests were raving about the delicious food and the excellent service. I would highly recommend them, and can’t wait to use them again for future events!
