Bachelorette Party Ideas

Throw The Best Party Ever

As a bride, you thrill over the tiny details that go into planning your dream wedding. However, if you’re the bride's best friend, the Bachelorette party is your time to show off.

1. The Perfect Pre-Game for your Bachelorette Party

We all know that the drinking and getting ready before the partying is usually even more fun than the night itself- so don’t skimp on planning the pre-game. Have everyone come over to your place to get ready and pop open a nice glass of bubbly while you get ready. This is also the best time to whip out your matching bridesmaid robes and take the ultimate getting ready with your ladies Instagram pic. The pre-game is crucial because it gives you time to finish planning out the final details of your evening and gives you the opportunity to chat with your ladies before the mayhem commences. Start your Bachelorette Party on a good note for the best night ever.

2. Make Your Social Media Game Strong.

Speaking of Instagram, you want to mark your special lady night by crafting the perfect hashtag for all of your pictures. Not only will this make it easier for you and your ladies to see all the pictures posted from your wild evening but it’s a cute addition to any picture. Your hashtag doesn’t only have to be for your Hen’s night, you can use it on your wedding day as a special way to get your guests involved online. Not sure where to start when picking a hashtag? Our friends at The Knot have you covered.

3. Plan at least one fun activity that doesn’t require leaving the house.

If you’re Bachelorette party is over the course of a couple days, it’s crucial to have at least one event that doesn’t require leaving the house. Give the ladies a break from wearing heels for a bit and plan a fun event at home. Whether that’s a movie night or hiring your own Personal MiumMium Chef for dinner or cooking lessons, people will appreciate the break from being out and about and the opportunity to just be at home with friends enjoying each others company.

4.  Do Something Memorable

Whether you’re going out to the bar or on vacation somewhere, make sure you plan at least one act of rebellion. Get kicked out of the club, go skinny dipping in your hotel pool, dance on the tables at a restaurant, get a tattoo, just go crazy. The bride is going to want at least one crazy memory of her single days to carry with her into her marriage and the story will be something you and your girlfriends will reminisce on and bond over for life.

5. Make it Personal

Girls typically start planning their weddings from a very young age. Every detail is often already mapped out before you even meet ‘the one’. This usually means the bride isn’t completely clueless as to how she wants to celebrate her bachelorette party. Make sure your plans for your friend bachelorette are actually things she would enjoy. If she’s more into a casual evening with friends, don’t plan a wild night out on the town. If she’d prefer not to spend too much money, keep it local instead of planning a two-week getaway to Vegas. It’s always important to check in with the bride-to-be to make sure that your plans are matching up with hers and to encourage her to let you know what things really excite her and what things she’d maybe rather leave out.

6. Ask for Help When you Need It

A lot of time, effort, money and thought goes into planning a great party - so don’t be afraid to ask for help. Ask your creative friend to help with decorations, or the mother of the bride to arrange transportation. It’ll take stress of your hands and give others the chance to feel a part of the evening as well!

7. Go all-in for the perfect bachelorette party

Why not go all in, we only get married once, or twice or 😋. Go to or similar vacation rental sites and find a unique property, a log cabin in the wood, a beach house or simply a loft downtown. Full the bar and hire a personal chef to take care of all your meals for the week end. Ask the chef to prepare a few events, such as a Pizza contest, or even better a Private Cooking Class with the bridesmaids.

Turn it into a Chopped Competition, the cooking competition show that is all about skill, speed and ingenuity. Each week, four chefs compete before a panel of expert judges and turn baskets of mystery ingredients into an extraordinary three-course meal. Course by course, the chefs will be "chopped" from the competition until only one winner remains.
